Veganz Group AG realises €30 million profit from OrbiFarm sale

(Ludwigsfelde, 26 June 2025, 1:45 p.m.) - Veganz Group AG (WKN: A3E5ED / ticker symbol: VEZ) will sell 100 per cent of OrbiFarm GmbH ('OrbiFarm') to a third party for €30 million plus an earn-out. A notary appointment will take place in the next few days.

An important goal of this transaction is to enable strategic partners whose statutes prohibit investment in subsidiaries of listed companies to become involved. In addition, the proceeds from the sale of shares and the earn-out will strengthen the Veganz Group's liquidity in the medium term and create new scope for growth in the new core business.

OrbiFarm GmbH was developed over several years under the umbrella of the Veganz Group in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology IME until it was ready for the market. Its technology enables the climate-flexible and pesticide-free cultivation of staple foods and medicinal plants on a minimal area – a groundbreaking approach to global food security.
