Longer Xetra trading hours for private investors: now from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Since December 2025, your Xetra trading has become significantly more flexible. The previous main trading hours from 9:00 to 17:30 have been extended with early and late trading sessions – giving you continuous access to one of Europe's largest liquid exchanges from 8:00 to 22:00, for 14 hours a day.

Important: The extended trading hours only apply if your bank or broker participates. Check the overview on the right to verify this.

How does this work?

Specialized trading partners – known as market makers – provide buy and sell quotes for retail investors that can be within the usual spreads. This ensures your orders are executed at the current Xetra price or better.

Additionally, transaction fees for these executions have been reduced – provided your bank or broker participates in the service and passes the advantage on to you.

The offer applies to all approximately 1,000 stocks and 3,500 ETFs or ETPs traded on Xetra.
