The inclusion of stocks and bonds in trading on the open market is published on deutsche-boerse-cash-market.com:

Recently, criminals have been pretending to be employees of Börse Frankfurt and asking consumers to transfer money to third parties. We ask you not to respond to such requests. Börse Frankfurt will never ask you to make payments to third parties neither by phone or email. If you receive this kind of request, please contact us at redaktion@deutsche-boerse.com. Thank you.

Other available online tools include a yield calculator, apps for iPhone and Android, the live DAX camera on the trading floor, and the open Xetra order book.

The Deutsche Börse Group is the operator of Deutsche Börse Xetra and Frankfurt under public law and ensures the functioning of stock exchange trading.

Trading hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Xetra and 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Frankfurt on trading days.

You can easily book a free visit to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange at deutsche-boerse.com/besuch. In addition to the new visitor center, a wide-ranging program of lectures offers you a wealth of financial and stock market knowledge.

To trade on Deutsche Börse, you need a securities account with a bank or online broker that offers Xetra and Frankfurt as trading venues. A dedicated video series on this website will help you get started. You can find good overviews of the terms and conditions of the various providers on the internet. Several online banks and neo-brokers offer better prices via Xetra for trading all stocks and ETFs/ETPs available there. More information: deutsche-boerse.com/xetra-plus

Over 1.5 million securities are tradable: stocks, bonds, ETFs, ETCs, ETNs, funds, warrants, and certificates. These include many exciting stocks from international companies that you can buy and sell with little effort. ETFs, ETCs, and ETNs, passively managed index trackers, are ideal for wealth accumulation. Xetra is the largest marketplace in Europe for these securities and therefore has the lowest indirect costs. Xetra also offers better prices to private customers of participating banks.

On the exchange, supply and demand for securities are brought together and balanced through price determination and execution at these prices, mediated by specialists (market makers) in floor trading. The objectives of stock exchange trading are increased market transparency, higher liquidity, reduced transaction costs, and protection against manipulation.
